About BSV CPAs and Wealth Advisors
BSV CPAs and Wealth Advisors was built on a simple but powerful belief: true financial security comes from aligning tax strategy, financial planning, and business advice under one coordinated approach. That belief has guided the firm for more than three decades.
The firm’s roots trace back to 1992, when Denise Barrows, CPA, CFP® founded The Barrows Sollenberger Group, P.C. with a focus on high-quality tax preparation and trusted guidance for individuals and small business owners. In 1999, Diane Sollenberger, CPA, CIA joined the firm, strengthening its tax leadership and expanding its capacity to serve growing and increasingly complex client needs. From the beginning, Denise recognized that tax compliance alone was not enough—clients needed forward-looking financial planning and investment strategies that worked hand-in-hand with their tax situation.
That vision led to the creation of Barrows Wealth Management, designed to deliver tax-smart investing, retirement planning, and long-term wealth strategies alongside the firm’s tax and small business services. As client needs evolved, both businesses expanded to include a dedicated Small Business Services division offering payroll, bookkeeping, and consulting—helping business owners move beyond compliance to better decision-making and long-term growth. The wealth management practice successfully merged with and acquired another advisory firm in 2022, further expanding its client reach.
A pivotal milestone came on January 1, 2026, when Brian Barrows, CFP®, MBA and Seth Vorhees, CPA were named partners. As next-generation leaders, Brian and Seth represent the continuation and evolution of the firm’s mission. Together with Denise and Diane, they lead BSV with a shared commitment to integrated planning, technical excellence, and long-term relationships. Today, BSV CPAs and Wealth Advisors stands as a multi-generational firm built to serve clients not just for today’s decisions, but for the decades ahead, delivering security beyond the numbers.
